Dear Bill

It was a great surprise to receive your beautiful book in the post today. Thank you for sending it, replete with POB's drawing on the cover, an attribution on the title page, and a matching (chequered flag) compliments slip.

My first thought upon opening it was that this is clearly much more than a pamphlet. Being an architectural, industrial and graphics designer, POB would have appreciated the fine aesthetic layout, tasteful covers, and magnificent colour photographs, not to mention all the research that's gone into it. Very classy and stylish indeed! Many congratulations. I'd love to know how POB would have fared on the quiz and crossword puzzle.

I'd be keen to advertise the book on POB's blog, if I may. Would I have your permission to put up a scan of the covers and a few other pages, such as title page/ table of content?

Thank you again for sending it. I will place it in my bookshelf next to my inscribed copy of my dad's 1994 Grand Prix analysis book.
