Patrick O'Brien's analytical book 'Grand Prix: A Century of Racing', 1894-1993 was published in 1994 by the AA Racing (Pty) Ltd of Kyalami, South Africa. Written in the English language, this book gives a complete overview of many aspects of racing in each season from 1894 to 1949 and the years of Formula 1 from 1950 to 1993, as one cohesive series on a consistent basis. A well-known F1 and racing enthusiast, the author (1944-2017) has illustrated it with his own drawings of the drivers and cars. The foreword is by erstwhile FIA President Max Mosely.
